Five fleeting appointments led to Everton. Now a low-profile manager is turning clean sheets and market recycling into a challenge near the summit.

RED CARD, CROCKED KEEPER, TWO GOALS: INVINCIBLE’S EVERTON ESCAPE ACT

One red card. One injured goalkeeper. Two goals in two minutes.

That was Everton against Manchester Blue in July. Iliman Baroy Ndiaye collected his second yellow in the 25th minute. Jordan Pickford went off injured one minute later. Then Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored in the 29th and 31st.

Everton won 2-0 with 47% possession. Manchester Blue attempted more shots, nine to ten, but Everton put seven on target to their opponent’s three.

That six-minute revolt is as close as Invincible gets to an autobiography.

His Everton are now seventh in England Division 1 with 18 points from 11 matches, only three behind leaders Liverpool. The username promises perfection. The record reveals something more useful: persistence.

The job that stuck

Before Everton, Invincible’s managerial ledger resembled a corridor of briefly opened doors: five appointments across four clubs. Four ended without a match. The fifth produced one victory with Dingwall.

On 3 September 2025, Everton’s previous reign ended. Invincible’s began 30 seconds later. That timing tells us how quickly the job changed hands, not why he took it. What followed tells us why it mattered.

Everton had opened that league season with no wins, three draws and eight defeats. They had scored twice, conceded 12 and collected three points.

Under Invincible, their remaining 27 league matches produced eight wins, 13 draws and six losses. Everton scored 19, conceded nine and earned 37 points. Nineteen were clean sheets; 12 finished goalless. They survived in 15th place, four points above relegation.

It was not romance. It was brickwork.

The following season brought ninth place and 54 points. This campaign has them seventh. Across all competitions, Invincible’s Everton ledger stands at 28 wins, 34 draws and 18 defeats from 80 matches.

The public noticed early. In October 2025, GreenFuryx offered a compact verdict:

new manager in Everton is doing great 👀 🔥

One shape, five moods

Invincible’s preferred frame is clear. Everton used 4-1-3-2 in eight of their latest ten completed matches, winning five, drawing two and losing one.

The instructions changed more freely: Passing five times, Long Ball twice, with Normal, Attacking and Counter used once each. Invincible appears loyal to shape, not doctrine. The skeleton stays; its pulse changes with the opponent.

That flexibility has a hard defensive edge. Everton have seven clean sheets in 11 league games this season, and every one of their five victories came without conceding. Their latest three league matches were all shutouts. Only three teams have allowed fewer than Everton’s six goals.

The Manchester Blue victory came with Counter selected. Reduced in numbers and deprived of their starting goalkeeper, Everton did not need the ball to command the decisive moments.

A recycling plant, not a showroom

Invincible’s transfer ledger shows the same pragmatism. Since his appointment, Everton have completed nine purchases worth 144,504,270 SVC and eight sales worth 124,003,672 SVC. The net spend is 20,500,598 SVC; receipts equal 85.8% of the buying bill.

They were net sellers by 34,740,926 SVC last season, yet eight of Invincible’s nine recruits remain Everton players. This is controlled turnover, not a bonfire.

Versatility features prominently. Efstratios Svarnas cost 29,209,768 SVC and now offers an 82 rating across left-back, centre-back and right-back. Lucas Silva Melo, bought for 20,000,002 SVC, is rated 80 and covers four defensive or midfield positions. This season’s 15,999,000 SVC arrival Mattia Della Rocca is a 20-year-old, 79-rated attacking midfielder.

Everton still hold more than 25 million SVC in cash. The pattern is readable: pay for adaptable players, sell to reload, retain the pieces that fit.

Why Everton?

There is no confession to print. Invincible has no resolved Discord identity, and searches of the public community corpus found no attributable first-person explanation for choosing Everton.

The game data adds another clue. He currently holds no Everton influence, while his account’s lifetime share-trading volume is only 250 SVC. This is a managerial project, not an Everton investment position.

Actions are evidence, however, even when they are not testimony. After four appointments without a match and another lasting one game, Invincible stayed. He turned a winless side into survivors, survivors into a top-half team, and that team into one sitting three points from first place.

On 5 September, Everton host Liverpool. Victory would draw them level with the leaders on 21 points.

Perhaps that is what makes Invincible tick: control before spectacle, continuity before mythology, one stubborn result after another. He has not told us why he chose Everton. He has shown us why Everton kept him.
