775-HOUR FREEZE! VAN DIJK’S 130M ASK IS FIFTH-HIGHEST — STILL NO BID

Only 15 club balances clear Liverpool’s price, although the defender is the live market’s lone 93-plus centre-back.

775-HOUR FREEZE! VAN DIJK’S 130M ASK IS FIFTH-HIGHEST — STILL NO BID

That 130M sign has been hanging on Liverpool’s porch for 775 hours, and nobody has knocked.

Before anybody hollers deal, 130M SVC is Liverpool’s asking price, not a bid. Virgil van Dijk’s live auction still shows no high bidder, an empty bids list, started: false and no end time.

The deal check

Archival data dates the current listing to July 16 at 16:51 UTC. At our August 18 check, it had been live for 32 days and nearly eight hours.

The bid ledger contains zero entries across both Liverpool attempts. The first was recorded on July 5 at 155,689,281 SVC; the present minimum is 16.5% lower.

Soccerverse Times reported that cut on August 2. The fresh finding is how much colder the stand-off has become: this listing alone has now crossed 775 full hours without one offer.

Scarcity meets arithmetic

Van Dijk remains the only centre-back rated 93 or higher on the live market. Yet 130M is also the fifth-highest minimum among 8,837 listings.

His game value is 12,974,106.83 SVC, making Liverpool’s ask 10.02 times value. He is 35 and has one season remaining on his current club contract.

The cash pool is mighty narrow. Just 15 of Soccerverse’s 5,350 clubs currently hold balances of at least 130M SVC — 0.28% of the world — before accounting for any other commitments. Game-wide transfer volume over the latest seven-day comparison is also down 37.0%.

Still doing the job

This is no forgotten reserve. Van Dijk has made four league starts this season, playing 360 minutes at a 7.0 average with one clean sheet and one assist. Liverpool sit second.

There’s the rub: elite, scarce and still contributing, but priced at ten times his live value in a cooling market. The auction has no countdown because it has not started.

The verdict from the ledger is plain: real listing, elite defender, no deal — and absolutely no 130M bid.
