If bots snap up the genuine wonderkids before anyone has the chance, then the game becomes absolutely pointless as an investor. It's not rocket science!

sansansan92 believed two separate complaints—SoccerRatings access and bots—were being bundled together.

What do bots have to do with Soccerratings?

Bot-beating plans meet the ownership wall

joachim_95952 tried to turn the room towards solutions. Klo // svbase.eu duly produced two substantial proposals:

• A 24-hour loan application period, followed by a weighted draw in which unsuccessful clubs accumulate extra chances.
• A 48-hour opening market window for new-player Influence, with requests held before proportional allocation when demand exceeds supply.

This removes the advantage of bots and server speed because being first no longer matters.

That opened the real fault line. username_hamburgler argued that sharing the most desirable Influence among every bidder would gut the discoverer's reward.

How does this help with the whole idea that we promise people the opportunity to own a player outright??? If you do this then everyone will own a % of the top players and the game would stall

Klo returned serve by asking whether exclusive ownership was only acceptable when hamburgler got there first.

You're not happy with bots. You're not happy with whales. You're not happy with share. So having the possibility to own totally who you want is ok only if it's you?

Then round two went off. During the full 99-minute spell, username_hamburgler contributed 63 posts and sansansan92 supplied 62. Hamburgler called some participants "really dumb"; sansansan92 countered with the line of the night:

The scrap wandered through 2x2 arithmetic, trenches and Pinball before finding an unexpectedly civil full-time whistle. At 19:37, hamburgler wished his opponent a great day and told him to stay safe. Fifty seconds later, sansansan92 replied: "Same for you, stay safe."

Skez's verdict

There are two proper positions beneath the flying chairs. Leeds and hamburgler say instant data plus automation can kill discovery, while broad allocation weakens the prize for finding talent first. Klo and sansansan92 say server speed should not decide access and shared Influence can still deliver collective control.

What this evidence does not establish is that a bot captured any particular player. No player, auction or transaction was identified in the exchange. This is proof of a trust-and-design row, not proof of cheating.
