ONE POINT, ZERO SHOTS, SIX EMPTY SEATS! Milano Blue’s Beautiful Agony
They lost the first title before an almost-full ground, won their only cup without a shot and handed a 464.7M SVC squad to a blank-page boss.

Six seats were empty. Only six.
Milano Blue Stadium holds 80,018. For the final league match of Soccerverse’s first season, the ledger recorded 80,012 inside it. Milano Blue needed to beat Bergamo to become champions. They took six shots, put four on target and scored none. The 0-0 left them on 77 points. Lazio finished on 78.
Season 2 delivered eighth place and an even stranger 0-0. Milano registered no shots against Modena in the national cup final, yet won the recorded shootout 1-0. Across seven rounds, they conceded no regulation-time goal and survived four shootouts.
Then came a Season 3 continental semi-final at Newcastle: another 0-0, five Milano shots on target to Newcastle’s none, and a 1-0 shootout defeat.
At Milano Blue, a nil-nil is never nothing. It has cost a title, delivered their only trophy and barred another final.
The architect who never left
HamBurglerFC became Milano Blue’s first recorded manager on January 9, 2025. His opening tenure lasted 108 matches: 56 wins, 28 draws and 24 defeats. It contained the one-point title miss and the cup triumph.
AP9mc succeeded him in January 2026 and won 13 of 19 games. In his public handover, HamBurglerFC recast himself as the club’s sporting director and lead scout. He returned before the Season 3 run-in, which ended with Milano third on 68 points.
Season 4 has compressed that cycle. AleDaCup delivered nine unbeaten matches. HamBurglerFC returned for one game, lost it, and JavierZanetti was appointed the following day.
During a community discussion about trusting unfamiliar coaches, HamBurglerFC supplied the philosophy in one line:
If you can scout players you can scout a manager
At this club, that is more than a clever remark. Managers are part of the recruitment plan.
Four days to the derby
JavierZanetti’s first recorded Soccerverse move was his Milano Blue appointment on August 25. His manager history contained no previous club. His profile showed 5.131 SVC, while he held no Milano Blue influence.
Four days later, an attendance of 77,576 watched his side demolish Milano Red 4-0. Milano had 57% possession, took 16 shots and put eight on target. The blank page suddenly had a thunderous opening.
The second line was harsher: a 4-2 defeat at Firenze. As of September 4, JavierZanetti’s entire managerial record is one win and one loss.
He remains the live-listed manager, but without locked status. The same club sheet names HamBurglerFC as proposed manager. The latest manager ballot gave Ham 12,611 of the 12,731 votes cast — exactly the size of his own holding.
Faith with a spreadsheet
Before taking the job, HamBurglerFC publicly promised youth development, efficient spending and long-term stability. The transfer ledger proves the youth part beyond argument.
Across four seasons, Milano Blue completed exactly 24 purchases and 24 sales. They paid 837.6M SVC and received 746.2M, recovering 89% of their outlay for a net spend of 91.4M.
The average new signing was exactly 20 years old. Nineteen of the 24 were aged 20 or younger, and 70.8% of all buying expenditure went on that group. HamBurglerFC oversaw 22 of those purchases.
Warren Zaïre-Emery arrived at 18 for 95.7M SVC; he is now 20 and rated 96. Ayden Heaven cost 10.74M at 18. His recorded ratings climbed from 75 to 84 and then 90, and his current game value is 26.58M.
This is conviction, not alchemy. The 11 players bought and later sold returned only 5.34M more than their purchase fees. Rodrigo Zalazar’s 44.53M gain alone masked a combined 39.18M loss on the other ten round trips.
The current squad carries two clocks. Of 25 owned players, 12 are 23 or younger, five are at least 30 and 11 have one season remaining on their contracts. Eight list HamBurglerFC as their agent; every one is between 18 and 24. He is also the largest of the club’s 79 influence holders and its possible next manager.
That overlap is what makes Milano Blue different. The coach can change, but the architect remains inside the walls.
The next line
Milano own Italy’s highest average-rated squad at 89, with 464.7M SVC in player value. Yet they sit eighth after 11 matches, drawing six, while only 22.9M remains in cash.
JavierZanetti is scheduled to visit Lazio on September 5 — the club that took that first title by one point. The symmetry is almost too neat.
The newcomer has the keys. HamBurglerFC still holds the map. Milano Blue’s next great achievement may depend on whether either man is given long enough to finish the journey.
