The deal checks out to the second. The completed-transfer feed records the 22-year-old centre-back/right-back arriving from Metz at 10:43:48 UTC on Thursday. Cornella’s balance sheet shows the 89,036,999 SVC transfers-out entry at that moment.

Their immediately preceding balance was 89,068,847.44 SVC, meaning the deal consumed 99.96% of it.

Sané is rated 83 and carries a current game value of 7,419,750 SVC. The fee was almost exactly 12 times that figure. Cornella are 11th in ESP Division 1 on 15 points after 11 matches. Bless their nerve; the financial cushion is now mighty thin.

Cash piled high

Friday’s refreshed ticker shows the other end of the scale:

The same week produced a 103-second Salzburg-Bayern double deal. Joane Gadou, a 19-year-old, 85-rated centre-back, moved to Bayern for 128.21M SVC. Eric Dier, 32 and rated 88, went the other way for 85.83M SVC moments later.

Bayern’s buying fee exceeded the Dier selling fee by 42.38M SVC. They still hold 221.32M SVC, fifth on the live balance list.

Treatment-room sirens

Competition and club feeds delivered a stack of unwelcome notices:

• Brighton, ENG Division 1 — 89-rated Morgan Rogers, listed among the club’s top three players, received an 80-day injury notice on August 29. Marco Palestra followed with a 16-day notice on September 2.
• Leverkusen, DEU Division 1 — Santiago Sosa was logged with a major 88-day injury.
• Genemuiden, NLD Division 2 — Jur van Dalfsen received the longest bulletin: a major 109-day injury, with his live recovery date now set for December 20.
• Sassuolo, ITA Division 1 — Luca Lipani and Juan Rodríguez Camejo were handed 58-day and 18-day notices respectively.
• Toulouse, FRA Division 1 — 81-rated attacker Oscar Bobb was given a 23-day layoff.

Those figures are the original durations issued by the game, not recalculated days remaining.

Contracts signed, dugout changed

Levante filed 15 two-season renewals in one September 2 batch. The ESP Division 2 club secured Giorgi Kochorashvili, Andrés García Robledo and Edgar Alcañiz Baldovi among the group. Kochorashvili is rated 86 and sits atop Levante’s current player list; the club are 13th with 14 points from 11 matches.

Leipzig also tied down Frans Krätzig, Mohamed Simakan and Matias Fernandez-Pardo for two more seasons apiece. Roony Bardghji, meanwhile, has a three-match suspension after his red card.

At Girona, FFR420 is now the manager following Thursday’s appointment. It was the club’s third New Manager notice since August 29. The assignment comes with no soft landing: Girona are bottom of ESP Division 1 with seven points from 11 games.
