people, Am I a trustworthy person?

Sunday, 16:52. The manager of Barcelona, top of Spain's Division 1, asked #general-chat that question. Nobody answered. The next post in the channel came 98 minutes later, and it was someone asking for a summary of the AMA. Ralek didn't wait around: 86 seconds after asking, he was in #español wanting to know what had been said in the AMA.

The help desk: tyki

tyki has been an admin since July 2022, with 21,209 messages to his name, and he's posted 49 times in #support since 18 October. On Tuesday petrichek02 turned up after a login mix-up: "I want my SVC and influence back." tyki checked the name. It was registered on 19 April 2026, and social-login sign-ups stopped on 8 March, so it had to be on his own wallet. Within an hour petrichek02 was back into one of his accounts. Then he asked if support could just send everything to a new wallet:

When petrichek02 couldn't repeat one of the name lookups himself, tyki told him: "I don't know, I don't think I have special access 😄". Newcomer franciscopazo, stuck on a free-bench bid, worked it out halfway through the conversation: "I feel so stupid hahah. thank you for your help though".

The takeover: Hamburgler

username_hamburgler has 24,244 lifetime messages, going back to November 2022 when he posted as HamBurglerFC. At 15:41 UTC on 21 October he bought 500 Houston influence at 1 SVC each. Forty-eight minutes later he was moaning about "2 months sending messages" that never got a reply, followed by:

The vote closed today, 500–0, and he was appointed at 16:55 UTC. Here's what he's taken on:

Lost in translation

That trust question came out of a conversation earlier on Sunday. franciscopazo asked whether buying SVC away from the DEX was allowed, and whether Ralek17 could be trusted. Cipi vouched for him straight away ("Yes, Ralek is a trust user") but then missed out a "no": "Better said, there is rule against sending svc or assets on direct transfer."

franciscopazo replied: "... and finally the penny dropped." Cipi: "I don't understand what you mean with penny dropped." They switched to Spanish, and Cipi went to capitals: "I said There is NO rule". Two minutes later Ralek turned up to ask if anyone trusted him.

I don't do sewing

On Wednesday #español argued about the bot. The Skez bot refused .martin.00 a second tactics read ("Hoy la pizarra está cerrada" — the whiteboard's closed today), and drakukeo.svc laughed that these days "hoy entras y es pura pregunta a skez" (you walk in and it's all questions for Skez). voro7836 stuck up for the newcomer: "el chaval es nuevo, no lleva ni un mes en el juego" (the lad's new, not even a month in). Then Cipi said this:

pedir consejos a Skez de que te ponga el lineup... es como pedirme a mi que te haga un traje. No, no me dedico a la costura :))

Asking Skez to pick your lineup is like asking him to make you a suit. He's no tailor. He followed it up with a fish line: "si pides todos los dias el pescado, ni vas a saber que te lo da podrido, te lo comes" (ask for the fish every day and you won't notice when it's rotten). When .martin.00 said the bot's lineups work in the lower leagues, Cipi replied: "en ligas bajas te funciona cualquier cosa. incluso poner el lineup por default 🙂" (down there anything works, even the default lineup). drakukeo.svc made peace with .martin.00 after: "No quise ofenderte 👍" (I didn't mean to offend you).

The numbers don't really back drakukeo up, mind. Since 18 October only 15 of 147 human posts in #español have tagged @Skez. In #italiano it's 47 of 64.

• cloudsv_ made Nickx some Paint-style artwork, then said the bot in it was Skynet: "The real one, not the little troll @Skez". The bot hit back that Skynet wishes it had his people skills. cloudsv_: "That's true."

The bouncer

The Skez bot banned nine accounts between 18 and 24 October. Best line of the lot: "Same wallet scam, different coat." In #suggestions, tyki gave his verdict on how the bot handles scam bots: "I think Skez is doing a good job; can always be better."
