Gianluigi Donnarumma made 15 saves at Toulouse last Saturday. Paris still lost.

The night summed up a bad fortnight. Paris's 19-year-old right-back Naoufel El Hannach was booked in the second minute and sent off on the half-hour. Niklas Schmidt scored on 41. Toulouse took 25 shots, 16 of them on target, while Paris put two on target. Marcos Aoás Corrêa, a 91-rated centre-back who can also play right-back, had started a loan at Palma de Mallorca eight hours before kick-off. Achraf Hakimi Mouh was injured until two days later.

On Wednesday, Masour Dembélé put Paris 2-0 up against Lille by the 38th minute. Younes Lachaab scored a 47th-minute penalty, Dembélé came off on 66 and Ayyoub Bouaddi equalised on 82.

On September 26, Paris led Marseille by five points. By October 7 the lead had gone. Both clubs have 37 points from 19 games, and Paris are top only on goal difference (+24 to +5). On Saturday at 18:00 UTC they play each other at Marseille.

Twice by two points

In Season 1, under Eltukko, Paris finished second to Monaco, four points behind. In October 2025 the influence holders voted Janca in by 6,785 votes to 5,155 over Eltukko. That 6,785 is exactly the stake Nickx, now the club's third-largest holder, owns today. She took over 20 games into Season 2, lost only one of her 18 league matches and won the title by two points from Marseille. Season 3 finished the same way: Paris 76, Marseille 74.

thank you it's an honor to be the manager of such a good team 🔥

Her league record is now 41 wins, 27 draws and seven defeats in 75 games, exactly two points a match. Two of those defeats came at Marseille. ElChapito, manager there since February 2025, beat her 1-0 in November 2025 and 2-1 in April 2026. Janca has never won at Marseille.

Paris won this season's opening-day meeting 3-1, but Marseille have won their last four matches in all competitions. They have 139.4M SVC in the bank to Paris's 35.4M, and a 67,394-seat stadium against Paris's 47,929. Paris have the stronger squad, worth 502.4M SVC to Marseille's 262.5M.

The two-for-one

On August 3, Janca posted two player links in the community transfers channel: Gonçalo Matias Ramos and Lucas Lopes Beraldo. HamBurglerFC, agent of two Milano Blue youngsters, offered an 84-rated striker and an 81-rated midfielder. Janca asked whether he meant both of them for a loan of Ramos.

Yes 2 for 1

Her reply showed how she thinks. Ramos's contract was running down, and she wanted a guarantee that his agent, krille120, who is also Paris's fourth-largest influence holder, would let her extend it.

Because I wouldn't want to lose this player because the free bench!

Ramos left on loan on August 10. Mohamed Kader Meïté, 18, and Elías Montiel Ávalos, 21, arrived the same morning. At Milano Blue, Ramos has four goals in five Continental League games and three more in ITA Division 1. Meïté has two French league goals in seven appearances, six of them off the bench.

That deal now matters. Jonathan David was injured at half-time of Monday's cup tie and is out until Tuesday, so he misses Marseille and Monday's Continental League trip to Eindhoven. Randal Kolo Muani was sent off after 11 minutes of the same game, away at the amateur club Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu in front of 1,389 people, and still has two games of his ban left. Paris had scored 27 goals in their previous two cup ties. This time they needed a 51st-minute winner from Beraldo, the defender this paper reported last week as listed at 160M SVC with no bids.

That leaves Dembélé, who has 12 of Paris's 34 league goals, plus Bradley Barcola and the borrowed teenager.

Janca's approach is to sell high, borrow young and keep the core. This summer Paris sold Marco Asensio Willemsen to Palma de Mallorca for 73.59M SVC and have now loaned Marquinhos to the same club. Their wage bill of 8.98M SVC is more than double Marseille's 4.05M. Sokker MonKey made the wider point in general chat this week:

Clubs like City, PSG, and others have no chance of generating revenue on par with Barcelona

All in

Janca is also Paris's largest influence holder. On April 10, 2026, the day before that 2-1 defeat at Marseille, she paid 151,760 SVC for 10,490 Paris influence. At the club's last trade price of 29.90 SVC, the stake is worth about 313,651 SVC, more than double what she paid. Her account holds about 446 SVC in liquid funds.

She bought into the club on the eve of a defeat at Marseille and won the league anyway. She has now beaten Marseille to two titles without winning at their ground. Saturday is her third attempt, and her forwards are Dembélé, Barcola and an 18-year-old on loan.
