Les Herbiers chase top spot

Baden's new boss buys in

Winnerock only took over Baden on 15 September. In five games he's won three, drawn one and lost one, including a 4–1 win over Vaduz. He's also bought 2,000 influence in the club at 0.35 SVC, 700 SVC in total. The unbeaten start ended with a 2–1 defeat at Ouchy on Wednesday, which he called his "prima sconfitta con il Baden" (his first defeat with Baden). Baden are eighth in Switzerland's second tier. Next up is Chêne-Bourg, who are second, have won their last six and have conceded five goals all season. He's also been sending Cipi so many player photos for the community data pack that Cipi asked him to put them all in one zip.

Welcome, Dizima

Porto Santo went 88 days without a manager. In that time they played 18 games, winning five and losing ten. On 2 October, Daniel took over the club. He introduced himself in the Portuguese channel as Dizima, and gave an honest first review:

• tyki explained why suprememel's Edinburgh Green team was auto-picked into a 4-3-3 for the 0–0 draw at Glasgow Green B. Warren O'Hora was due back from injury at 19:00:01, one second after kick-off. Because he was still injured when the game started, the engine threw out the whole teamsheet. suprememel: "Absolutely gutted with that one mate one second is crazy". tyki's tip: don't pick players who are due back from injury on matchday.

The Show moves to Sundays

Nickx's Soccerverse Show went live on Thursday 1 October. The running order included a fundraising update, "Going Open Source (new hints)" and Cipi's multi-squad tactics tool. Then he moved it: "Sunday not Thursday." Sunday's episode was billed as "a quicky . . . short but intense". There were hints about open source on a live stream, and still nothing in the news channel. Someone needs to start posting there again.
