130.8M CASH-OUT! STUTTGART’S KIDS PLAY LESS THAN ONE KEEPER

130.8M CASH-OUT! STUTTGART’S KIDS PLAY LESS THAN ONE KEEPER

At 12:12 UTC on September 17, Stuttgart sold the 88-rated centre-forward who had scored 11 league goals in their championship season and five in 11 appearances this term.

Bristol Red paid 130,816,859 SVC. No replacement has arrived.

That fee is exactly 12 times the forward’s present game value. More remarkably, one deal recovered 83.3% of the 156,997,258 SVC Stuttgart had spent on nine recruits. Their net outlay fell to 26,180,399 SVC.

This is the new Stuttgart story: not the miracle itself, but what a first-time champion did after the confetti was swept away.

From 16th to champions

Stuttgart finished 13th in Soccerverse’s opening season and 16th in the next. Then class21 arrived on May 2, 2026.

The manager’s career history contains only one club. His first completed competition ended with Stuttgart top of DEU Division 1 on 77 points.

They and Dortmund had identical records: 23 wins, eight draws and seven defeats. Both scored 56. Stuttgart conceded 20; Dortmund conceded 21. A whole championship rested on one goal of defensive margin.

The defence remains respectable. After 18 games of the title defence, Stuttgart have allowed 14 goals while scoring 28. But eight wins, seven draws and three losses leave them sixth on 31 points, 13 behind the leaders.

Since selling their forward, they have won one of four league matches and scored twice. That sequence does not prove the sale caused the slowdown. It does show the immediate cost of choosing value over certainty.

Class21 appears to be searching for the next balance. Stuttgart used six formations and all five available play styles across their last ten matches. The 4-5-1 appeared most often, but only four times.

The 157M nursery

Every one of Stuttgart’s nine recruits is currently aged between 18 and 24. The strategy was never a conventional title defence built around ready-made stars.

Together, those nine have played 1,536 league minutes for Stuttgart this season. The club’s ever-present goalkeeper has played 1,620 by himself.

Daniel Maldini, the costliest recruit at 50,085,945 SVC, leads the group with 593 minutes. Cristiano De Paoli has 315, Marvin Dills 270, Adil Aouchiche 208 and Joseph Liteta 150.

Filip Jørgensen, Sem van Duijn, Nick Schmidt and Ayumu Yokoyama have yet to play a league minute for Stuttgart. Yet Yokoyama is not standing still: on loan at Dorking, he has played 763 league minutes, scoring twice and assisting three goals across nine appearances with a 7.33 average rating.

That is the distinction. Stuttgart did not spend 157M SVC solely to improve August’s starting eleven. They bought a development portfolio.

The manager has personally tied himself to it. Current records list class21 as agent for eight of the nine recruits. The fetched trade log also records him buying 1,099,997 influence shares across those same eight players, plus 1,356 Stuttgart shares.

This is more than a club policy handed to a coach. It is class21’s own footballing thesis, expressed through selections, agency and influence purchases.

The quiet man with Germany’s biggest bank

The newsroom manager profile offers no linked Discord identity or recent message trail for class21. It shows a personal balance of 55,907.98 SVC and records him active on the morning of October 4.

The decisions speak louder. Stuttgart now hold 293,797,712.84 SVC, the largest cash balance in DEU Division 1 and substantially more than their 199,974,798.88 SVC total player value.

Around them, the scale remains enormous. The stadium holds 60,469, and September produced several gates above 60,400. This is not a small club quietly hoarding prospects. It is a reigning champion asking a huge crowd to tolerate delayed gratification.

That contradiction makes Stuttgart special. They possess the money to chase an instant fix, the defensive core to remain competitive and the memory of a title won by the narrowest possible margin. Yet their manager sold a proven scorer, banked a spectacular premium and kept trusting the younger players he had already backed.

The table currently says sixth. The balance sheet says strongest. The minutes say unfinished.

For class21, that is the wager: Stuttgart’s next great side may already be in the building. It just has not played a full goalkeeper’s season between them yet.
