GreenFuryx finds the switch

GreenFuryx arrived in #general-chat on Sunday with the confidence of a man whose tactical tinkering had finally landed.

The game record gives that swagger some serious backing. Brentford beat Manchester Red 3–1 away on 3 October, ending a four-match winless league run and climbing from 18th to 17th.

They now have 19 points from 18 matches, putting them outside the bottom three. Still a relegation scrap, aite—but three goals away against the side sitting sixth is how you make the room look up.

Socryptic is still top

Socryptic’s weekly Glasgow Green update landed in Discord with the message STILL TOP, highlighting Adam Idah’s 53rd-minute winner in a 1–0 victory. The live match record confirms Idah scored the only goal against Perth on 26 September; the community post used the club’s real-world St Johnstone identity.

Glasgow Green then won 2–0 at Dingwall on 3 October. That left socryptic’s side leading SCO Division 1 with 35 points from 14 games, two points clear, having scored 32 and conceded 11.

That is not just content-farm chest-beating. The table says the bhoys are exactly where the video claimed: top, la.

Builders get the live wire

The week’s freshest official announcement came from snailbrain on 29 September: the developer documentation had received more information and API calls, including a route for live updates.

It also now includes the /events end point - so you can get real time updates..

For community-tool makers, that /events endpoint is the headline. Matchday dashboards and other live projects now have an officially documented way to receive events in real time. Nice one.

Shows, tools and a competition tease

Nickx (Napoli) kept the community broadcast rolling too. His 1 October Soccerverse Show advertised open-source hints, Champions League results and Cipi’s multi-squad tactics tool alongside the fundraising discussion. He then moved the regular stream from Thursday to Sunday and returned with a shorter live edition on 4 October.

Cipi | El Rincón del DT followed with a warning about his next community competition. The full format is not public yet, but eligibility will consider when accounts were created and when—and from whom—shares were acquired.
