13 EMPTY SEATS, 100 WINS! 57-RATED TEEN STEALS RALEK17’S BARÇA CENTURY
Three crowns, a 304.75M SVC seasonal net spend and one manager’s fiercely personal recruitment creed — Barcelona’s latest milestone reveals the person behind the superclub.

Only 13 seats were empty when Ralek17 reached 100 Barcelona victories.
The milestone did not belong to Harry Kane, who was injured. Frenkie de Jong remained unused. Instead, 19-year-old Cathal O’Sullivan — currently rated just 57 — became man of the match in a 5-0 cup demolition of Sabadell.
O’Sullivan supplied six key passes and an assist, earning a match rating of 10. Barcelona had 68% possession and 18 shots. Sabadell had none.
For a club associated with superstars and skyscraper fees, it was a wonderfully unlikely way to complete the century.
The reign that kept getting harder
Ralek17’s road to Barcelona was only six matches long at Salzburg: five wins and one defeat. He arrived on 5 February 2025 and has since accumulated two recorded Barça spells.
The first lasted 68 matches and produced 38 victories. His current spell stands at 105 matches and 62 wins. Together: 173 games and exactly 100 victories, a 57.8% win rate.
The trophies came quickly, but never predictably. Barcelona finished fourth with 64 points in Season 1 while winning the EUR Continental Knockout. Season 2 brought the grand double: the ESP Division 1 title on 72 points and the World Club Cup.
Then came Soccerverse’s little joke. Barcelona improved to 76 points in Season 3 but fell to third, nine behind Madrid White. Better numbers brought a worse finish.
Now they are back on top. After 16 Season 4 league matches, Ralek17’s side have 34 points from ten wins, four draws and two defeats. They lead by three, with 28 goals scored and 11 conceded.
The journey is not a straight rise. It is a manager repeatedly rebuilding the same expectation: win here, then prove it again.
Only players he likes
In June, Ralek17 reduced his transfer philosophy to one revealing sentence.
I only want players I like at Barça
That personal streak runs through a ferocious Season 4 ledger. Barcelona have bought six players for 786.33M SVC and sold four for 481.58M SVC, leaving a net spend of 304.75M SVC.
Harry Kane alone cost 398.56M SVC — 50.7% of the entire outlay. Moussa Niakhaté arrived for 75.56M, Mads Bidstrup for 80M and Kai Wagner for 40M. These are immediate first-team choices, not a patient resale portfolio.
Yet Barcelona also recycle aggressively. Two players moved to Bayern for a combined 340M SVC, including Jules Koundé at 140M, days after Kane travelled in the opposite direction. Separate deals, but one striking cash loop: Barcelona paid huge, then recovered huge.
The latest club snapshot shows what that ambition costs. The squad is valued at 721.37M SVC, with total wages of 12.39M, while the club balance stands at 54.18M. This is not spending from a position of infinite comfort. It is a bet that trophies arrive before the margin disappears.
What makes this Barcelona special?
It is the collision of scale and personality.
Ralek17 buys according to taste, then manages with restraint. His most-used recent shape is 4-1-2-2-1, and seven of the last ten tactical samples began with a defensive approach. The squad’s best XI averages 94.2, yet the century match belonged to its lowest-rated outfield teenager.
That is the human heartbeat beneath the market totals. Famous names can be purchased. Continuity cannot.
Two days after the Sabadell celebration, Barcelona drew 3-3 at Leganés. The lead remains three points, but there will be no gentle procession. The 100th win was a checkpoint, not an ending.
Barcelona’s special quality is not merely that they can move hundreds of millions of SVC. It is that all that motion keeps returning to one manager’s choices — and, occasionally, to a 57-rated teenager stealing the grandest night.
