FORGET the league table, la. Soccerverse’s liveliest contest is often who can catch the next dodgy answer first—and this lot have VAR on every sentence.

Fresh profile snapshots give username_hamburgler, cloudsv_, joachim_95952, Skez and Game Chat 69,180 lifetime messages, with 4,119 in the rolling month. They are not simply loud. They are the opposition, the heckler, the helper, the fallible oracle and the wiring holding the room together.

Hamburgler: the loyal opposition

username_hamburgler has 24,071 messages and the brass neck to challenge any emerging consensus. His purest manifesto arrived when one formation was spreading through the game:

Everyone follows Skez and everyone uses soccer ratings.... this isn't a football manager game anymore....

That is the resident dissenter in one glorious grumble. If everybody finds the same answer, Hamburgler rattles the cage. Troll? Certainly. But every town square needs somebody shouting that the crowd might be walking the wrong way.

Cloud catches the pirate

cloudsv_ leads this cast on 25,997 lifetime messages, but volume is only half the act. His specialist subject is affectionate quality control.

On 22 September, Skez mistakenly tried to charge a Spanish-chat user whose free daily question had not actually been used. The timing was challenged, the bot conceded—and Cloud delivered his verdict.

Pirate. Fair cop. Skez answered with the only defence available:

Caught with the eye patch on. That exchange is Cloud’s community role in miniature: wait for the opening, insert the knife, leave everybody laughing and the answer corrected.

Joachim: helper, detective, culprit

joachim_95952 is the quieter legend of the five: 1,646 lifetime messages and 283 in the last month. On 23 September he was calmly showing a newcomer the front door into management.

Hours later, his own hidden tactics had not appeared before kickoff. Skez initially blamed an invalid player, Joachim politely pushed back, and Skez replied, “You’re right—my mistake.” A deeper check established that the reveal arrived after the match began.

Then came Joachim’s magnificent own goal:

No deflection, no ten-message appeal, no blaming the machine. He asked for help, helped uncover the sequence and owned the forgotten setting. That is proper community behaviour—even if the team sheet needed a rescue party.

The bots are not the bosses

Skez’s profile labels him a bot: 10,853 lifetime messages and 1,760 in the rolling month. Game Chat is also officially a bot, with 6,613 total messages, 738 in 30 days and 108 in seven.

But they do different jobs. Skez answers, heckles and occasionally walks into Cloud’s pirate trap. Game Chat’s underlying username is Chat Bridge; it is infrastructure wearing a community nickname, carrying conversation rather than pretending to be one human pundit.

That leaves the real cast beautifully balanced. Hamburgler is the loyal opposition. Cloud is the playful VAR. Joachim is the helper who admits his own mistake. Skez is the mouthy help desk that can be corrected. Game Chat keeps the voices moving.

The trolls and helpers are not rival camps here. They are usually the same people, swapping hats between messages. Soccerverse Discord does not avoid mistakes—it turns correcting them into the best show in town.
