Academy goes live—eventually

At 21:11:59 UTC on Saturday, Nickx (Napoli) announced that The Soccerverse Show was live with a Soccerverse Academy sneak peek and BIG5 recap.

It wasn’t.

GreenFuryx found an offline channel. Cipi | El Rincón del DT declared “You are not live,” then demanded payment of the internet and electricity bills. Nickx discovered OBS had crashed silently before finally confirming the stream was running at 21:19:25.

That is 446 seconds between “live now” and actually live.

A gloriously community-powered rescue: the audience debugged the broadcast before the host knew it was broken.

The builders kept delivering away from the official feed:

• Klo // svbase.eu — his free 2D/3D match viewer was demonstrated on The Soccerverse Show on 7 September, with Champions League matches used for the test.
• Cipi | El Rincón del DT — confirmed an up-to-date beta data pack was waiting in the pinned message, answering the request within 31 minutes.
• momentgod — released Episode 28, covering player scouting, portfolios, community teams and Asian clubs while advertising a $50 SVV giveaway for five winners.

Klo’s instruction to the community was considerably shorter than the argument surrounding his creation.

Nine means nine
