300M DREAM, 120M REALITY! Salah’s Sixth Liverpool Listing Has Never Drawn a Bid
Liverpool have cut 180M SVC from the first archived ask, but the live auction remains unstarted after 405 hours — and the minimum is still 8.3 times Salah’s value.

Seven months ago, Mohamed Salah Hamed was being marketed as a coming 99-rated prize. Now Liverpool’s asking price is down to 120M SVC, and the checked record shows zero bids across all six of his listings.
Let’s settle the deal before anybody shouts otherwise: 120M is the asking price, not a bid. Our final live check found an empty bid book, no high bid and an auction status of unstarted.
The public sales trail began on New Year’s Eve.
Listening to good offers/swaps for Mohamed Salah, 99 next season
Salah’s player history duly recorded a 99 rating on 3 January. Liverpool placed the first 300M SVC listing later that day. His next rating update, on 4 July, brought a six-point fall to today’s 93.
Six listings, no takers
Liverpool’s archived asking prices are:
- 3 January 2026 — 300M SVC
- 7 January — 225M SVC
- 24 January — 190M SVC
- 5 June — 120M SVC
- 5 July — 135M SVC
- 16 July — 120M SVC
That is a 180M SVC cut, or 60%, from the opening figure. The separate bids archive contains no offer against any of those six auctions.
At 14:20 UTC on 2 August, the current listing had stood for 405 hours without a bid. With nobody meeting the minimum, no end time was set.
The buyer’s equation
There is still an elite attacker in the shop window. Salah is 34, fully fit and rated 93, with 93 shooting and coverage at right attacking midfield, centre-forward and right forward. Only one Liverpool squad member currently rates higher.
His Season 4 ENG Division 1 return stands at three league appearances, 270 minutes, a 7.0 average rating and no goals or assists. His live value is 14.42M SVC, making the 120M minimum 8.3 times that valuation.
The wider market check underlines how high Liverpool are aiming:
- 18 managed clubs held balances of at least 120M SVC in the latest snapshot.
- 11 of 4,935 completed Season 4 transfers reached 120M SVC — just 0.223%.
- A different 93-rated Dortmund centre-forward has attracted a real 105M SVC bid from Lisboa. Salah’s opening requirement is 15M, or 14.3%, higher.
That does not make a sale impossible; Season 4 has already produced 11 deals at this level or above. But there is no deal here yet. Liverpool have posted a minimum, the market has declined to start the auction, and six attempts have produced the same answer.
For now, 120M SVC is a shop-window number — nothing more.
