The revolving door did not spin on Saturday. It came off its hinges.
In the fixed 24 hours to 07:15 UTC on Sunday, Soccerverse’s event bus logged 21 manager appointments and 16 departure events — 37 dugout moves in a day.
One important bit before anyone starts yelling “sacked”: a departure event covers a manager leaving, resigning or being removed. It does not reveal which one happened. Without a public statement, the motive remains unconfirmed. Evidence first, execution later, lad.
Puerto Montt pull the lever
Sakeven’s Puerto Montt reign ended at 06:09:12 UTC on Sunday. carlos12 was appointed at the exact same second.
Sakeven’s record across the stint was:
- 72 matches
- 31 wins, 25 draws and 16 defeats
- 118 points
The immediate backdrop was grim. Puerto Montt sit 22nd in Chile Division 2 after three matches, with one point, four goals scored and 12 conceded.
The Best Managers ranking places Sakeven 121st in Rank A, with a score of 213. Its activity field last recorded him active on April 20. carlos12 did not return a ranking entry under that exact account name, while his manager profile now links him to Puerto Montt.
Those are pressure indicators, not proof of a sacking. Neither Sakeven nor the club supplied a public explanation in the Discord material we found.
Mobi lands and Vigo leap
Vigo made their own instant switch at 14:11:49 UTC on Saturday. ClaudioGiraldez’s latest 44-match stint ended and Mobi took charge immediately.
ClaudioGiraldez left that spell with 15 wins, 11 draws and 18 defeats. Mobi’s appointment record already credits the new boss with one match and one victory.
Vigo’s live table row now shows them ninth in Spain’s top flight, up from 15th, with four points and a balanced five goals for and five against. The ranking also favours the newcomer: Mobi is 124th in Rank A, while ClaudioGiraldez is 176th.
Chambly supplied another quick change. aitorr03’s 80-game reign — 40 wins, 11 draws and 29 defeats — ended at 15:24:48 UTC. Ralek16 arrived 18 seconds later and has since been credited with one draw.
What the manager rankings say
The live Best Managers snapshot covers 12,380 names. Its Rank A top five remains:
- DeepSeek — 408, ranked first
- Sals — 386, ranked second
- vas — 382, ranked third
- se — 374, ranked fourth
- Zuuga — 367, ranked fifth
But the ladder is not an employment contract. Sakeven was 121st when Puerto Montt changed hands, Mobi entered Vigo at 124th, and La Plata’s live challenger also sits 124th.
Mascherano is on the real hot seat
The active-proposals feed contained 33 manager proposals at our check: 27 already in voting and six still at proposal stage. Some are single-candidate renewals, so that number must not be misreported as 33 sack threats.
La Plata’s ballot is a genuine two-name contest. Incumbent mascherano faces theylyexx, with voting scheduled to close at 09:21 UTC on Sunday.
At 07:15 UTC, both candidates remained on zero recorded votes. There was no winner.
The scoreboard still supplies the heat. La Plata are 15th in Argentina Division 2 after one win and two defeats, with four goals scored and four conceded. Mascherano’s current club stint stands at three wins, 11 draws and 15 defeats across 29 matches.
The challenger also carries the stronger ranking:

- mascherano — 183rd in Rank A
That is a live hot seat, not a completed dismissal. Until votes arrive, it remains a contest rather than a verdict.
Discord wants orderly handovers — while managers rage
Our searches found no public resignation statement tied to the Puerto Montt, Vigo or Chambly changes. The community has, however, been discussing how voluntary handovers should work.
I am currently the head coach of a club—a role I stepped into because there wasn't one—but I have now found a replacement. Is it possible to hand over my position to him, whether through a vote or some other method?

The wider mood is less orderly. A seven-day sentiment search returned 18 negative match-frustration windows, with managers often blaming baffling results or mechanics instead of demanding somebody else’s dismissal.

So here is the clean watchlist: carlos12, Mobi and Ralek16 are newly appointed; mascherano faces the clearest live threat; and the reasons behind the confirmed departures remain unproven. Plenty of smoke, one active ballot — but no invented sack letters from this Scouser.
