SACK THE CHAMPION? SJOW’S THREE-GAME STUTTER STARTS A DISCORD WIND-UP

taai. called for London Red’s boss to go; krille120 hit back, then apologised, while goalkeeper maths and a stream ping swallowed general chat.

SACK THE CHAMPION? SJOW’S THREE-GAME STUTTER STARTS A DISCORD WIND-UP

Thirty seconds. That was all it took for Saturday’s general-chat row to jump from taai. posting “Bin this bot” during Nickx’s stream-ping exchange to a demand that London Red’s manager be binned too.

Whoever is managing my club (Arsenal) actually needs to get binned

taai.

Less than two minutes later came “Sack the Arsenal manager.” The chat called them Arsenal; Soccerverse’s live table calls them London Red and names Sjow as manager.

Three games versus 129

The frustration has receipts. London Red sat 16th after three league matches: two draws, one defeat, two points, no goals scored and one conceded. That is a rotten opening for the division’s league-best average player rating of 89.

taai. later suggested Sjow “might be washed” if the next league game went wrong, before immediately adding “Ofc I am exaggerating.” The live vote check returned no active proposal against Sjow, either. This was Discord theatre, not yet a boardroom coup.

Marius supplied the perfect commentary:

From winning epl to washed in 3 games. Soccerverse aint easy lol

Marius

The defence is substantial. Sjow’s London Red tenure spans 129 matches with 60 wins, 37 draws and 32 defeats. He took them to last season’s English title with 76 points, 22 wins and only 13 goals conceded across 38 matches.

Saturday’s 0-0 against Brentford hardly looked like tactical surrender. London Red had 53% possession, 17 shots and 11 on target. Brentford’s goalkeeper saved all 11, earned a match rating of nine and took man-of-the-match honours.

Sjow did not appear in the visible Discord exchange, so there is no answer to publish. The numbers say the champions are misfiring; they do not say the champion manager has suddenly forgotten his job, la.

The Buxoro roast boomerangs

When krille120 asked taai. which team was his, RodeoRexxx linked Buxoro. taai. replied that “We r third at the moment,” and krille swung hard:

bro finished 10th in dead league vs bots and is slandering epl winner 🏆

krille120

Keep it tidy: the “dead league” and bot claims were krille’s banter, not established facts.

Buxoro did finish 10th in Uzbekistan’s top flight last season and now sit third in Division 2 after winning two of their opening three games. But the manager ledger shows the in-game account Tai only began there on June 27 and has managed those three matches. Last season’s finish cannot fairly be pinned on the newcomer.

The Discord identity check did not verify taai. and Tai as the same account, so neither will this paper. Rodeo pointed out the newcomer detail; krille checked, replied “I didn’t look when he took team sorry 🏆” and then added “sorry tai forgive my.”

Swing, check, apologise. Fair play, lad.

Keepers don’t run, apparently

Because one argument was not enough, krille had already opened another front over goalkeeper stamina. looplab offered “well GKs dont run 🙂”; krille returned “And pigs dont fly.”

His serious claim was this:

Gk in 90 min lose 9% stamina and is always played on fast. Striker (ok i get it they run more) lose 30% in 90. But at 90 rating vs 90 rating the gk is already favoured

krille120

sansansan92 countered that the difference resembled real football, where an outfield player running and shooting should tire faster than a goalkeeper.

I didn't know we knew how to calculate stamina Then I return in silence 🤐😁

sansansan92

No official engine formula appeared in the exchange or the follow-up search, so the percentages remain krille’s disputed observation. Brentford’s 11-save display makes goalkeeper balance a fair topic; it does not prove the mechanic is broken.

The bot catches strays

Nickx’s use of a server-wide @everyone tag for his livestream lit the other fuse. The Skez moderation bot objected, taai. posted “Bin this bot,” and RodeoRexxx asked Nickx: “Why do you ping everyone?”

The corpus does not establish whether that tag was authorised. Treat it as an etiquette row, not proof of wrongdoing. Fair shout, though: server-wide pings attract pelters, and an automated referee in a banter-heavy room will eventually become the meme.

The wider 30-day pulse scored 727 general-chat conversation windows across 465 active hours, with the average mood slightly below neutral. Saturday’s mixed 76-message burst was graded high heat, negative and controversy level two.

Three games after lifting the league, Sjow’s title medal is still warm. Discord’s patience, la, is already in the bin.
