FIVE-NIL, SIX POINTS — AND THE VOTES STILL PICKED THE FORMER BOSSES

Five goals scored. None conceded. Six points banked. And by 06:44 UTC on Tuesday, two new managers had lost influence-weighted ballots to the men they replaced.

Union’s vote finished 14,945–0 for Kipro over caaspin. Eleven minutes later, Paderborn’s shareholders picked `` over Fairless, 880–0.

Keep the red tops holstered for one line: neither incumbent had been removed at 06:45. Live club data still showed caaspin and Fairless as managers, with the ballot winners listed as their proposed replacements. The votes chose the next bosses; the handovers had not happened.

Even after those ballots closed, another 25 manager votes remained live or queued: 20 already voting and five upcoming. Seventeen were clear incumbent-versus-challenger contests. The hot-seat factory is open, la.

caaspin wins — Kipro wins the vote

caaspin replaced Kipro at Union on July 15. Three days later, before caaspin had even managed a match, shareholders opened a vote to restore the former boss.

caaspin answered that evening with a 1–0 win over St. Pauli, leaving Union ninth in DEU Division 1 after the opening round.

The rankings backed the newcomer too. caaspin sits 87th on the Tactician ladder and 111th on Veteran, while Kipro is 127th and 117th respectively.

Kipro does bring history: 45 wins, 37 draws and 21 defeats across 103 Union matches. Two recorded voters ultimately supplied all 14,945 votes for the comeback; caaspin received none.

One match, one clean sheet, one win — and now waiting for the phone to ring. Ruthless, that.

Fairless goes top — `` gets the nod

Paderborn somehow turned the temperature up again.

Fairless succeeded `` on July 16. The replacement ballot opened two days later, more than 11 hours before Fairless’s debut. That debut became a 4–0 demolition of Heidenheim, putting Paderborn top of Germany’s first division after one round.

Fairless is also higher on both live manager lists: 95th Tactician and 103rd Veteran, compared with `` in 134th and 145th.

The former boss’s record was 36 wins, 27 draws and 27 defeats in 90 Paderborn matches. Yet one recorded voter’s 880 influence settled the return ballot while Fairless drew zero.

These were not votes launched because of dreadful opening results. Both began before kick-off. The new managers then won 5–0 on aggregate and still could not alter the verdict.

Discord splits over who holds the keys

Public Discord searches did not surface a direct thread about either German ballot, so there is no invented mob to report. The wider argument over shareholder power and manager control, however, has been bubbling through general-chat.

For that reason, I also believe investors' votes should carry more weight than managers' votes.

There are not that many roles for a manager. Do tactics and transfer players.

That is the Soccerverse fault line in two quotes. One side supplies the capital and wants the deciding vote; the other asks what remains of management if control keeps shrinking.

The rankings backed caaspin and Fairless. The scoreboard backed caaspin and Fairless. The influence backed Kipro and ``.

Form wins points. Shares win votes. Off ya go? Not quite yet — but both lads should keep their phones on.
